Ron Orlando 's deep love of nature, wildlife and art has evolved over the past twenty years into a unique style of detailed acrylic painting that brings his subjects to life.  Extensive field work and research into the North American birds and mammals translates to a level of realism appreciated by all who view his work.  Receiving a Dodge grant to paint in Yellowstone in 1995 and studying with John Seerey Lester in 1998 and with Robert Bateman in 2001 energized Ron's career in recent years.
Exhibiting in shows through out the country Ron has received numerous awards and best of show awards including the prestigious "Arts for the Parks" National/International competition and the Timber Wolf Alliance Midwest Regional competition. Ron's originals and prints are on display in prominent galleries around the Northeast. Ron and his wife live in New Jersey
